Season 3

Season Three -The season three is longer, funnier and more happening than the last two seasons and paved the clear way to more seasons. In the first episode, Monk goes for a medication to get rid of disorders and shows improvements as well. But this proves to be baneful for Stottlemeyer, as Monk loses his special abilities of solving cases. Monk moves to New York, following evidence relating to murder case of Trudy.

In third episode, Monk is babysitting a chimpanzee, Darwin, who is accused of a murder. Monk shows up his phobia of germs while handling Darwin. Later, Monk puts his job into danger due to his germ phobia, as he destroys important evidence, accidentally.
