I can easily recollect the Monk episodes which were based on the life of Adrian Monk, who served as an ace detective to the San Francisco Police department but after the dismissal of his wife he is not only shattered but he suffers nervous breakdown. Recovering from it he gets several phobias and also suffers from Obsessive compulsive disorder. But even after having these phobias he has extremely sharp memory and outstanding observational abilities which he uses in solving cases as a private detective. His team includes Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), Captain Leland Francis Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine), Lieutenant Randy Disher (Jason Gray Stanford) and Sharona Fleming (Bitty Sehram).
Fans saw the last glimpse of the Monk Series on 4th December 2009, on which the Monk Season 8 Finale episode
was aired, that was the finale of the series also. The episode was titled “Mr.Monk and the End- Part II”; in this episode we saw Monk’s life in danger as he is poisoned. While in a critical condition also the Monk solves the death case of his wife Trudy and gets her killer arrested. And as a finale should end with a happy ending it ended on a happy note with Monk being saved from the poison, him finding Trudy’s daughter Molly Evans and enjoying his life staying with her. At the same time Monk continuing with his profession with Natalie and Stottlemeyer.
